Who We Are
Hearts Respond is a community focused non-profit dedicated to providing resources and guidance for our residents to improve their lives. We achieve this through creative outlets, seminars/workshops, and service activities.
We are led by members of the community and Dr. Gregory Allen, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for over 30 years.
Hearts Respond works in partnership with the South Bay non-profit Freedom4U. Together we collaborate to heal our community by facilitating the growth of those involved.

Holiday Community Mixer
Our Holiday Mixer was full of holiday cheer, as the San Pedro community came together to make memories and connect with one another. Friends and family talked over refreshments and live music, with a special performance from one of our teens!
Thanksgiving Food Drive
With the help of the Redondo Union High School PTSA, families, and students, we were able to collect over $4000 of groceries which was donated to the Long Beach Rescue Mission for the unhoused in the community and for the residents of the mission!
